I actually made pizza (not frozen…the dough and everything from scratch!) this weekend which turned out quite good. I was real impressed with myself. ha ha We also went to see My Big Fat Greek Wedding which was pretty entertaining. Also spent a few hours playing some games on Playstation. Our last time together in Seattle. Weird. I have 24 days to get out of my house. Time to start packing! Looking forward to getting this show on the road! Also excited to see the new Wes Craven movie “They” this week! OK rockers…all for now.
I Got The Flu For My 34th Birthday
Posted: November 21, 2002 Filed under: Personal Updates Leave a comment »Remember that one skit from Saturday Night Live where Molly Shannon plays the older woman who keeps saying “54 years old” or something like that? I saw that again the other night. I was thinking about that this morning…as I turned 34 years old. Got up at 6am, went swimming, came home and realized I’m totally sick. I knew it was just a matter of time before the flu that was going around the office caught up with me. So, I layed down for a bit and took some Tylenol Flu medicine. Now I’m drinking some orange juice. Well, you have to take the good with the bad I guess. The house deal is done and soon I’ll be hanging with my lady. Good times ahead…stay tuned…
Got An Offer On The House
Posted: November 14, 2002 Filed under: Personal Updates | Tags: house, offer, seattle Leave a comment »Well, God is good. I’ve finished 10 days on the master cleanser. And today I’m drinking some orange juice. More importantly…after only showing my house for one day I got a full price offer. They are a couple who has only been married a year and this would be their first house. He started a design company, a record company and was in a band. And she was a professional dancer from New York. She is studying dance now at the University Of Washington. Pretty cool. So, only inspection to go and it’s a done deal. Closing escrow the day before I go on Christmas vacation. It’s all too amazing. So, anyway…it’s TIME TO START PACKING!
Back To Work
Posted: November 11, 2002 Filed under: Personal Updates Leave a comment »Well, back to work for me. Spent a busy weekend cleaning, painting, tree trimming, etc. to prepare for the eager house buyers who will be walking through my house this week. Any thoughts or prayers in regard to selling the house are much appreciated as the sale is the last thing standing between me and my lady being together. Yeah, so I’m on day 8 of the cleanser. I really want to eat. Not too much longer to go. I’m off to Big 5 to buy some swimming goggles! Have a great week everybody! : )
Pack It Up, Bill
Posted: November 10, 2002 Filed under: Personal Updates | Tags: california, man alive, management, packing Leave a comment »Packing, packing, packing, packing, packing, packing, packing, packing, packing, packing, packing, packing, packing. I AM SO SICK OF PACKING. Also confirmed to the roster of my new management company is the Israeli punk band MAN ALIVE. Really cool guys, great story, great music. Awesome. I can’t believe have like 9 days to be out of my house and in 10 days I’ll be leaving for Christmas vacation. It’s all too surreal! I moved to Seattle in 1990. This is the longest I have lived a place since I was first in California where I lived for 18 years…now we’re going to tack one more year on to that total before heading to Jersey. I’m most excited about getting back East. That’s when I will really start noticing the changes. Although being self employed and living in a house of college students will be a big culture shock in itself, I’m sure. Flying to LA this weekend to check out the house and spend a little time with Ronee. That will be good. She’s been real busy with finals, papers, etc. and I’m been swamped with doctor appointments, car appointments, packing, storage, etc. It really takes it’s toll after a while when you are long distance and rely on phone, e-mail, IM communication and there is little to no time for any of them. So, good times are ahead! I can’t wait. By the way…if you haven’t yet…you HAVE to buy Sahara Hotnights “Jennie Bomb”. It rocks! Ciao…
The Power Agency
Posted: November 9, 2002 Filed under: Personal Updates | Tags: ed rose, get up kids, master cleanser, slow coming day, the power agency Leave a comment »Hi everybody! Well, it’s been a busy few days here. I started my own management company, The Power Agency (real creative name, huh? ha). The first band I picked up was Slow Coming Day who I recently signed to Tooth & Nail. They are in the studio right now in Eudora Kansas with Ed Rose (producer of the Get Up Kids, Appleseed Cast and others). I just updated their entire website and there is studio pictures, etc. on there. Check it out! Tonight I went to see the movie Roger Dodger. I had not heard of it, but a friend suggested it. It was actually quite clever. The cinematography kind of bugged me. But, it was a good indie film. I just completed day 5 of the Master Cleanser and I’m doing ok. John from work was by earlier and he had food with him (including a banana shake!) and I was real tempted. I also put my house up for sale this week. My last day at Tooth & Nail is January 10th. I hope to be in California by February 1st. I’ll be down there until December of 2003 when Ronee and I are moving back to New Jersey. Well, it’s 2:51 am and I have a weekend full of cleaning, yardwork, etc. to do. Good morning, good afternoon, good evening and in case I don’t see you…goodnight.
Vancouver And The Best Food We've Ever Eaten
Posted: November 4, 2002 Filed under: Personal Updates | Tags: bc, best food ever, jackass the movie, master cleanser, quattro on 4th, vancouver, victoria Leave a comment »Spent an amazing weekend in Vancouver / Victoria BC with Ronee. Highlights included seeing Craigdarroch Castle in Victoria, the view from our 23rd floor room in the Delta Pinnacle Hotel in downtown Vancouver (as well as the 24 spa/fitness area with pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna), the Haunted Trolley Ride from the Vancouver Museum and the best meal of our lives at Quattro On 4th (she had steak and I had duck…it was unbelievable how good it was). On the drive back yesterday we stopped to watch Jackass: The Movie. I can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard. My sides hurt. SO funny. All in all an amazing time. Today I started two weeks on the Master Cleanser. It’s a cleansing fast where you drink this lemonade stuff and it cleans your whole insides out. This will be the 3rd year in a row I’ve done it. It’s good times. Have a great week everybody!
