Worst Blogger Ever

Well, I cannot believe a month has passed since the last time I posted anything. My sister turned 24 years old today. I’m trying real hard to get my head around that. It hardly seems possible. It doesn’t seem possible that punk rock drumming legend Chuck Biscuits is dead at 44 (only 3 years older than me). Birth. Death. All the years just turn into a vapor.

So…to make this easy on myself…and you…here’s what I’ve been up to since 9/22 when I last posted.

I went on the Village Chapel Men’s Retreat. It was awesome although I did miss the lake that was a the previous camp location.

I went to an Ellie’s Run group Africa trip recap where they showed photos, videos and told stories from their trip. It was very cool.

I went to see the documentary It Might Get Loud with my bro David Bean. The film was really inspiring. So inspiring that I went out and bought a U2 ticket the very next day.

I watched Vanderbilt football lose to Mississippi.

I went to see the U2 360 tour show in Atlanta, GA. It was my third time seeing them and it was amazing. I really enjoyed the over-the-top production and stage.

Ronee and I went to my cousin’s 40th birthday and bowling party. I did the best at bowling I have ever done. I am usually horrible.

I worked at a Titan’s football game. They lost.

I went to some Village Chapel men’s morning meetings. Still am.

I worked at a sold out Kings Of Leon concert. Still boring. More popular than ever, especially with the ladies.

I went to see Gasoline Heart and Adam & Dave’s Bloodline at The End. Both bands were fantastic. Was cool to see Louis playing bass with ADB. He rocked it. Had a really cool dinner beforehand at Jason’s Deli with Chad, Brad and Josh. Both bands and Chad stayed overnight. I made eggs for everybody the morning after. It was just like the old days in Seattle when bands stayed at my house every summer in a non-stop stream. Good times.

Went to see what was supposed to be a scary movie called Paranormal Activity. It was more like Blair Witch Project 3. AWFUL. BORING. Almost left after the first hour.

Watched the YouTube stream of the LA U2 show. Was pretty much a carbon copy of Atlanta, but cool to watch nonetheless.

Went to see the documentary film Art & Copy with Mike, Bryan and Bruce. Loved this film. Very cool and interesting about the world of advertising.

My awesome wife went out of town for her 10 year high school reunion / fall break / visiting family last week in New Jersey. It’s great to have her back!

Oh, I also got throat and nose sick. Then I got intestinal sick. After a lot of rest and taking liquid magnesium (no kidding) I seem to be on the mend.

This weekend I’m working at another Titan’s football game. Nothing funner than being around a bunch of losers and their fans. Ha ha. Also hoping to finally see Zombieland!!!!

Lastly I have been enjoying the heck out of my two new favorite bands, Young Livers and Bridge & Tunnel.

OH CRAP, I almost forgot. Our first line of shirts for Mike and I’s charity brand are done and we launched our store. You can go to thisshirtchangeslives.org and it will re-direct you there. Also, we launched a brand new re-design and re-vamp of Zambooie.com at my work. It’s pretty awesome.

Thanks for reading and for your patience. I will do my best to get back on track here.
