Whiskerino 2009 Is Upon Us!

So, I’m participating in my second Whiskerino. And I guess it’s going to be my last as it is reported to be the last one that they are running.

For those of you confused as to what Whiskerino is – quite simply, it’s a four month (Nov-Feb) beard growing competition. A lot of creative (way more creative than me) types (photographers, designers, etc.) get into it and post some really cool photos.

The last time I only lasted a shameful 20 days. My goal this time is to beat 20 days, but I would really like to just make it the whole way. I have this beard phobia where after a certain amount of time I get OCD about the beard and freak out. I just have to shave. So, I’m really interested in conquering my beard fear! Ha ha.

Either way, it’s a fun time and I have some good friends participating. If you wanted to get in on it I’m afraid it’s too late. The response was overwhelming and they cut off registrations in less than 48 hours!
